I am not a medical doctor, I am not a naturopath… in fact
I have no formal health care qualifications at all. But I
am a scientist. I have a University Degree in Engineering.
So what am I doing writing about health issues?
Very simple!
You can feel relieved that I have no mainstream medical
qualifications. The Western medical care model is just not
working. It's not health care… it's sickness care. The
mainstream medical industry has been completely unable to
bring relief to serious debilitating illnesses my family
and friends and acquaintances have suffered for years.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that the medical
fraternity are bad people. They're highly educated, very
bright people. They save many lives. But in many areas they
fall dismally short. They're simply taught how to treat
symptoms not causes.
One day recently an amazing event happened in our lives.
My wife and I were introduced to alkaline water. We weren't
searching… in fact we knew nothing about it… we didn't even
know it existed.
Here's what happened:
We were invited to a seminar to learn the benefits of a
water ionizing system. At the seminar my wife drank seven
large glasses of water.
"So she drank some water?" you say. "Everyone drinks
water! Tell me something I care about".
Well here's what's remarkable. My wife has suffered from
serious and ever worsening "Acid Reflux" or "GERD" for over
20 years and has been on stronger and stronger medication
as the years have passed. She has been unable to drink even
one glass of water without reflux and pain occurring. She
would usually start each evening before bed by sitting up
for at least an hour to allow the acid created by drinking
water with her pills to settle.
As she slept, the pain at night in the area of the
"esophageal hiatus" (the junction of the esophagus and the
stomach) felt like a slipped disk. She was almost certainly
headed for cancer of the esophagus!
On this particular evening after seven glasses of water
she felt no reflux and no pain. She went straight to sleep
without medication and hasn't needed to take medication
since.
What was different this time?
This time she was drinking "ionized alkaline water"! I'm
not going to claim that she has been cured by alkaline
water… just that since starting to drink alkaline water her
symptoms have gone away.
